They are wonderful. They carefully select each rider's horse. My 7 year old granddaughter went for her 2nd ride here with me. We both had a great time
The employees at this company where great and fun. The reason for the 2 star review is the owner, Bernadette. We showed up 10 minutes early and where rushed out of our car by the owner. Than a group of first time riders where given confusing instructions by the owner and scolded when we didn't follow her contradictory instructions. We all felt uncomfortable as Bernadette yelled at her employees infront of us and it seemed like no one could meet her expectations. We had 1 group member who has had a bad experience with a horse in the past and the owner put her on first and made her feel extra uncomfortable while she waited for the rest of us to mount up. She made our whole group feel so uncomfortable we spent half the trip back wondering why someone so apposed to customer service would get into the trail riding business? I have family and friends who are horse people and I understand the how they are. However Bernadette was just rude and ruined what was suppose to be a fun time with family and friends. Once again the employees where great and friendly however in the future I will find a trail riding company owned by someone who stands behind their employees and fosters a supportive environment for new/inexperienced riders.
I loved my guides both times I rode here. The only reason I returned the second time was because I did not have any contact with the owner the first time, other than the phone call. When we arrived today, the owner, Bernadette, started yelling at us before we even had our feet out of the car. She scoffed when two of our group said that they were first time riders. Another one of our group was very nervous yet the owner put her up first and when her horse moved, Bernadette screamed at her for tensing up. We all gave a sigh of relief as we realized she was not our trail guide. Our guides were amazing yet while we were mounting, Bernadette was screaming at them and making us all uncomfortable. We spent the entire ride home discussing how such a horrible and bitchy woman can continue running a business where she needs to communicate with people. Next time I will take my business somewhere where I feel welcomed and where I don't feel like I have paid for terrible service. I will not be returning and I would highly recommend not going here.
We had a very disappointing experience. We took our three kids horseback riding for the first time to celebrate my daughter's birthday. The owner was so rude and mean that two of my kids started to cry. My kids said they were not afraid of the horses but they were completely afraid of the owner. My husband and I were floored that someone could be so rude not only to their customers but also to their employees. On a positive note, the trail guides were great and the horses were nice. Next time we will definitely pick a different place.
A great place for a trail ride, owner is very instructional and the horse's are very well behaved our daughter and even I had a great relaxing trail ride! We will be back.
